Concrete Patios
Concrete Patios in Oak Creek, WI
Patios, walkways and sitting areas poured across Oak Creek and the south suburbs. Broom, exposed aggregate, coloured or stamped, marked out on your grass before you commit to a size. Free estimate, on your property.
Most back gardens around here have one usable summer surface, and for a lot of houses that is a strip of lawn that turns to mud in June. A patio is the cheapest way to make the back of the house somewhere you actually sit - big enough for the table, level enough for the chairs, and built so it still looks right after five winters.
What you get
- A patio sized to the furniture you own, not to a number somebody guessed from the back door.
- The finish you picked - broom, exposed aggregate, colour or a stamped pattern, priced honestly against each other before you commit.
- Walkways and paths tying the drive, the side gate and the back step together so nobody is crossing wet grass.
- Steps and a landing where the ground falls away from the house.
- An extension to a patio that was always slightly too small.
How it works
1. Tell us the shape of it
A minute on the form. Photos of the space help more than measurements, and a rough sketch on your phone is plenty to start with.
2. We come out and lay it out
We mark the footprint on the ground so you can stand in it, sort out where water is meant to go, and put a written price in your hand before we leave.
3. We pour and finish it
Ground prepared, forms set, slab placed and finished the way you chose, joints cut where they were planned, and the garden left tidy behind us.
Why homeowners here call us
- You see the outline before you buy it. Marking the real footprint on the grass settles arguments about size faster than any drawing.
- Where permits apply, we deal with them. Most back-garden slabs are straightforward, and where a permit or an inspection is needed we file it and turn up for it.
- We pour concrete, and only that. No pergola, no screen room, no outdoor kitchen carcass. Knowing one is coming changes how we set the slab out, so tell us early.
Where we pour
Oak Creek first, then Greendale, Greenfield and Hales Corners inland, Cudahy and South Milwaukee along the lake side, and Franklin out west. Back-garden work rarely turns on which city you are in the way driveway work does, but drainage and access change street to street, which is why we come and look.
Reading up first
If you would rather see the numbers before anyone comes out, these are ours, worked through properly:
- what a patio costs, finish by finish
- what sits underneath any slab price
- how concrete compares with pavers and with a deck
Doing the front of the house in the same season? Our concrete driveway work is the other half of most of these jobs.
